Welcome to “Our Homes for the Holidays” home tour. The Christmas season is in full swing and I could not be more excited! I am sharing our living room, dining room and simple cozy master bedroom. I am so thrilled to be a part of the first annual Our Homes for the Holidays blog hop. If you are coming from Little Blue House – WELCOME!
Come on in friends!
I incorporated some thin burlap ribbon with black and white striped ribbon – a fav of mine, can you tell? 🙂 and combined those with an updated classic Christmas color palette.
Our “big tree” has all personal ornaments – a family tradition that nearly every girl in my family still does! I am going to have an entire blog post on the significance behind this next week! To tie the tree in with the room I tied in strips of the black and white striped ribbon.
Evergreens, pine cones and berries adorn the dining room.
With so much going on in the rest of the house, I kept our master neat and simple. I added some garland on the headboard, kissing balls and bells on the windows and a few trees.
Adding a few Christmas pillows and a cozy faux fur throw transforms our normal bedding to a winter wonderland…and for those wondering, it is very much Laila approved…Laila is our dog and for whom this blog is named after, for our new visitors! She has slept every single night on this throw since I have put it out!
I am so thrilled you stopped by and I hope you check out all the amazing accounts to follow this week! Now hop on over for some more gorgeous Christmas inspiration from The Renovated Acre. She is so talented and has some amazing spaces in store for you!
As always, thanks for stopping by!

December 10, 2017 at 2:13 amOh man I love all that black and white. Such an unexpected combo for Christmas, yet very pretty. I love the simplicity of your bedroom too. Decorated but not overstyled. Awesome work.
