Valentine’s Day is a fun day to celebrate with friends & family. I love to throw together easy tablescapes for holidays that are foolproof, festive and cheap!

For Valentine’s Day this year we will be spending it with our family so I wanted to create a livable, easy tablescape that includes lots of plasticware π yes I know…we aren’t going too glamorous over here! But this is proof you can pull together a table for a low cost and kid friendly!

I started with using kraft paper – an awesome option because it is budget friendly, disposable and kid friendly! I added some Target Dollar Spot placemats, pink & red plates and napkins, a few name tags, fun straws and finished it off with some flowers!
Using our cookies as the centerpiece allowed it once again to be cheap and laid back! One of my tips for paper products is to get generic colors and keep them in our pantry. You can use different colors for multiple holidays and events. So on the years I forget to pick up festive plates we have some generic ones in the pantry that still seem festive!

Creating a budget friendly tablescape on a budget is easy! Below are my tips that are FOOLPROOF! This is for all my friends who say “I can’t do what you can do” yes you can!

I don’t decorate my whole house for Valentine’s Day but I enjoy having a festive dining room. I just add the tablescape, some balloons and a banner. I created this DIY banner for $0!! Check out the banner DIY post here.
