One of my favorite things to do is go thrifting. I started way before it was “cool” or “with it” 🙂 My mom would drag me around to all sorts of thrift stores and yard sales and I developed my love from an early age. I started a monthly blog series with a bunch of incredibly talented ladies to bring you a thrift store transformation once a month. I am so thrilled to be doing this and showing off some of my fun finds! I want to give a special shout out to Leslea at www.aheartfilledhome.com for hosting this months blog hop. Please check out all of the other ladies listed at the end of this post.
My fun find this month was this Waterford frame I scored from Goodwill for $14.99!! I have researched the frame and I have not found it for less than $75 online. I love Waterford crystal and enjoy adding bits and pieces throughout my home to add a timeless look.
The 2 main rules you have to follow to find the gem in the rubble at thrift stores is 1. Go often 2. Look high and low! This frame was stuck next to old door knobs & other random household items.
Adding this frame on our tray with other thrifted finds makes a perfect vignette on our living room side table. The Waterford frame displays our family picture beautifully. Thrifted finds that you fall in love with helps make a house truly a home. I love adding pieces that reflect my personality. And finding this frame was IDEAL! Waterford Crystal at this price was a STEAL!
I am excited to be starting this series for you and I look forward to share my thrift store finds, yard sale rehabs and lots of refurbished items!
Make sure to check out the other ladies this month below.
